Statement

Suzy O’ Mullane is an Irish artist currently based in Paris. Her artistic practice comprises
painting, drawing, video, mixed media, writing and performance. Her practice is an intense
and immersive experience aligned with her personal life. It forms an interior, layered
narrative examining personal, female, political and societal identity; migration/travel and
memory. She offers a prosaic/poetic transparency and open dialogue which contains
inherent possibility for personal vulnerability.
