Suzy O’ Mullane is an Irish artist currently based in Paris. Her artistic practice comprises
painting, drawing, video, mixed media, writing and performance. Her practice is an intense
and immersive experience aligned with her personal life. It forms an interior, layered
narrative examining personal, female, political and societal identity; migration/travel and
memory. She offers a prosaic/poetic transparency and open dialogue which contains
inherent possibility for personal vulnerability.

In 2022, she completed her Masters in Drawing at Paris College of Art with distinction, where she
was also awarded the “Felicitations du Jury” by external jurors Maja Bajevic and Sabrina Terrasoff
for outstanding work. She holds a BA Fine Art (Hons) and Post-Graduate in Fine Art from Crawford
College of Art and Design (CCAD), and from University College Cork where she holds a BA in
English Literature. She has been practicing art full-time since 1996. She has exhibited frequently in
Dublin, London, NY, Berlin, Seattle, Miami, Toronto and LA, as well as being invited artist at
curated exhibitions in Beijing, Shanghai, Berlin and Melbourne. Her work has been presented at
Context NYC, Art Miami, Art Toronto, Art Chicago, Art Wynwood, Art Palm Beach, Aqua Miami,
Pulse Miami, Art Seattle as well as in multiple international solo and curated group exhibitions. In
her performances and video work she has collaborated with a wide range of creatives. Her videos
have been showcased twice at IndieCork Film Festival and in NYC. She is co-founder and former
director of ArtTrail Cork (1996 – 2002), in which she was central to it’s inception and development
from a local to a nationally recognised visual artist event involving 200+ artists before it’s closure in
